I am a good, sane,sober,moral,prudent person. I am a law abiding citizen. I take the necessary steps such as training to understand the responsibility I carry to stop a threat if needed. I've always had insurance to cover me should I need a criminal lawyer,I don't have much faith in insurance companies. For the first time since I made the decision to protect myself against people that will do me harm I have peace of mind knowing I can count on the best to defend me should a situation arise and I pray it never does. I recently signed up with AOR and needed help finding and signing in to the portal. I attempted to use the chat box on the main website but was told someone would have to get back with me later as it was a Sunday night. Shanice called me within about 15 minutes! I was floored! I’m a brand new member of their Attorneys On Retainer program and Tristian got back to me super fast both by email and on the phone answering my questions.Tristan was very attentive and answering my questions and guiding me through the sign-up process.I’m a minimalist and the monthly cost have the attorneys on retainer Program is less that my prepaid cell phone bill of 40 bucks for keeping me out of jail in a lethal self defense situation.Just an FYI, they also cover and have family programs available.This is a big deal since I live in a blue state.I haven’t had an emergency just yet and I really don’t wanna be in one, but we all know life happens and we don’t always control negative series of events.If something does happen, I’ll leave an updated review and share how it went if Google allows it.Either way I feel A lot more confident these guys would have my back compared to the USCCA. I signed up with the AOR program last year. I have had a few questions about things in the contract and about stuff that is not included as well. That team has been very helpful answering every question I have had. I am so happy I found this program and interestingly enough I would not have known anything about it had it not been for the interviews on YouTube I have watched where Marc is being interviewed by John Correia the ASP Owner. Once the National Plan happened and was covering more than initially I knew this would be a great program to be a member of. The biggest plus about this team is how they will get you the information needed as soon as possible. I hope I never have to call the hotline number but if it ever happened I know these attorneys will be by my side talking to the prosecutor, DA and anyone else in the court system that would have to be dealt with.

The CSR that helped me signup today was exceptionally helpful. I was confused by the on-line signup process for a National Family plan. He was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond by looking up my account, handling the signup for my wife on his end, keeping me informed as we went through the process, letting me know when he stopped the recording for privacy purposes (to take my credit card info) then restarted the recording to complete the process.I appreciate the candor in their videos where they say "we don't cover...". Where the insurance companies that nearly present as law firms hide in the details how they may leave you hanging, AFF is clear that they are attorneys managing the AOR program. If your case falls under AOR's broad self-defense umbrella then you're covered. If not, they'll still represent you, but at a discounted rate.I hope I never need their services, but based on the professionalism of the staff that I have interacted with I am confident that if needed their representation will get the best possible outcome.

Took me awhile to find the right company to go to where I felt comfortable and secure I'd get the proper help if something happened after asking questions and speaking to Aor members it was a no trainer I'm going on 4 months with them and I would say this was the best choice I could have made if you're unsure who to go for your situation choose Aor you won't be disappointed!

AOR is definitely worth the membership because they cover more self-defense scenarios than all of there competitors. The staff is also very kind and curious and will help you get started up and will answer any questions you might have. I live in California and God forbid if ever get into a self defense situation I don't want to get dropped by an insurance company that's supposed to provide legal protection. AOR is the way to go!

This was important to me in the most strict of legal sense. I do not want my legal and possible trial shared with a third party, they may not be a lawyer or ethically required to maintain my privacy. At this point I am very satisfied with my interaction with James who answered several questions that I had developed after reading through all of their available literature and watching a hour long video. Following my contact with James I then signed on to their program.I was looking at their firm after becoming increasingly more dissatisfied with the Insurance program that I was with. They had just too many exclusions and made it very clear that they would try to collect funds expended if they decided to drop out of a case.
